Oak Ridge Ralph E. Powe Jr. Faculty Award

Eligibility for the Powe Junior Faculty Awards:

Full-time assistant professors at ORAU member institutions within two years of their initial tenure track appointment (2/2/2005 through 2/2/2007) at the time of their application are eligible.

The research project must be in one of the following five disciplines:

Engineering and Applied Science
Life Sciences
Mathematics/Computer Sciences
Physical Sciences
Policy, Management, or Education.

R. Torsten Clay - Department of Physics received the Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Award from Oak Ridge Associated Universities

Dr. Adrienne Minerick - Department of Chemical Engineering received the Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Award from Oak Ridge Associated Universities

Year 2003

Kevin Knudson - Department of Mathematics and Statistics received the Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Award from Oak Ridge Associated Universities

Year 2002

Seong-Gon Kim - Department of Physics received the Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Award from Oak Ridge Associated Universities

Nominations are made by the institutional ORAU Councilors and are limited to two applications per member institution.
