8/11/15 - Musselwhite named community of practice vice chair

A member of Mississippi State's Office of Environmental Health and Safety has been elected to a leadership position for a national professional organization.

Alicia Musselwhite, the university's fire and life safety officer, is the new vice chair of the Campus Safety Health and Environmental Management Association's (CSHEMA) Fire and Life Safety Community of Practice.



Among her responsibilities on campus, she coordinates fire and building safety, fire extinguishers, fire suppression hoods, clean agent systems, and related safety and fire issues. For more, please see www.ehs.msstate.edu.

CSHEMA supports and educates campus-based environmental health and safety professionals to empower and to improve the profession in campus environments. Originally founded in 1954 as the Campus Safety Association, CSHEMA has a long history of service to the college, university and research communities.
