About this event

The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering will host a poster session, Research That Matters in ISE from 1pm to 5pm on April 12 in McCain Hall. All undergraduate and graduate student researchers working on ISE sponsored research and creative discovery are invited to participate and the event is open to all of MSU!

It is held in conjunction with Mississippi State University’s Annual Research Week. A poster competition is scheduled from 1pm to 2pm, and the posters will be displayed until 5pm.

This event showcases ISE faculty-guided, student research efforts from diverse research focus in the ISE department. Students are invited to submit posters to showcase their research work and participate the network lunch with peers and faculty. The research posters will also be recognized in the upcoming ISE newsletter and the ISE website.

The symposium is open to all undergraduate and graduate students engaged in ISE faculty mentored research and creative discovery. Both printed posters from on-campus students and digital posters from distance students are welcome to participate. The digital posters will be demonstrated using a screen during the session.

All participants are required to submit an electronic copy of their poster by April 5.The 1st place winner of each student group (undergraduate, MS, and PhD student) will be announced. There will also be a door prize at the end of the competition for all the attendees of this event.
