Each semester ORED hosts a series of programs including seminars, symposia, and special events to help train and educate MSU faculty and staff on various topics and foster interdisciplinary collaboration. The presenters range from MSU employees, program officers and guests we bring to campus.

Honors and Awards
Every year, ORED and the Division of Agriculture, Forestry and Veterinary Medicine honor MSU students, faculty and staff across campus for their accomplishments, research and creative endeavors. The program includes awards for each college, university center and institutes, ORED and MSU-Meridian, as well as the presentation of the Ralph E. Powe Research Excellence Award, the university’s highest research honor.
Limited Submissions
External funding agencies often limit the number of proposal submissions that a university may submit. This information is always provided in the agency announcement. The following process will be used to determine which proposal(s) may be submitted to any limited submission call for proposals
