BRIDGES Undergraduate Research Opportunity
In 2022, the Office of Research and Economic Development (ORED) and the Division of Access, Diversity and Inclusion (OIDI) partnered to create the Undergraduate Research Opportunity (URO) program with the goal of increasing the participation of undergraduate minority and underserved students in MSU research entities. Students are engaged in meaningful work that offers funding, career, and graduate school preparation. Most importantly, students have an opportunity to build relationships that will spark interest in research careers.
Scholars in the program have the opportunity to participate in PAID research, mentoring, peer support, and professional networking.
